What we do with an email address.
Very little. Here is the whole of it.
What we collect
If you subscribe, we collect your email address, and only that. There are no accounts, no profiles, no forms that ask for anything else. The site itself sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
How the list works
The list is run on Kit, which stores the address and sends the mail. Subscribing is double opt-in: you confirm from your inbox before anything is sent. Kit records when a message was opened or a link clicked, as every mailing service does; we look at that in aggregate to see whether the notes are worth sending, never to follow an individual.
What you receive: one note per episode — the video and its sources — and nothing else. If that scope ever widens (a workbook, a course, a community), we will say so in a note and you can leave before it does. Every message carries an unsubscribe link and the postal address the law requires; unsubscribing takes one click and is immediate.
Third parties the site touches
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces; your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
- YouTube embeds on episode pages use the privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no cookie until you press play.
- Amazon links on the reading list carry our Associates tag; when you follow one, Amazon sets its own cookies under its own policy.
- Hostinger serves the pages and keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security, as any host does.
Your rights
Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you (an email address), correct it, or delete it. Unsubscribing deletes you from the active list; write to keeper@wellofnine.com if you want the record removed entirely. We do not sell, rent, or share the list with anyone.
Changes
This page is dated at the top of its source and in the site map. If it changes materially, subscribers hear about it in a note before the change takes effect.
